UNITED COUNTIES OF SD&G, Ontario – Over the past weekend, SD&G and Highway Safety Division (HSD) OPP officers conducting speed measuring enforcement in the United Counties intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. In all stops, the vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.
– February 25, 2017 – 10:02am (Highway 401-South Glengarry); vehicle stopped travelling 155km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (21) from Montreal, Quebec charged accordingly.
– February 26, 2017 – 8:07am (Highway 401-South Stormont); vehicle stopped travelling 151km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (27) from St-Hubert, Quebec charged accordingly.
– February 26, 2017 – 9:34pm (Highway 401-South Dundas); vehicle stopped travelling 172km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (21) from Mississauga, Ontario charged accordingly.
