Arrest for forging cheques

CORNWALL, Ontario - Darin Cooper, 21, was arrested on March 15, 2017 and charged with utter forged documents, fraud under $5, 000 and breach of recognizance for being in possession of cheques not lawfully obtained by him.

It is alleged during the month of February, 2017 the man cashed forged cheques that had went missing from a Cornwall residence and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

CORNWALL, Ontario – Adam Alzani, 30, of Laval was arrested on March 16, 2017 and charged with breach of undertaking and recognizance for being out past curfew and failing to keep the peace. He was also charged with breach of recognizance for not residing in Quebec and not residing at a specific address. It is alleged in the early morning hours of March 16, 2017 the man was spotted in breach of his conditions in the area of Water Street and Amelia Street. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
