MOREWOOD, Ontario – On April 7, 2017 at approximately 11:42pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of an assault incident at a residence in the Village of Morewood, North Dundas Township.
Investigation indicated that a male had sexually assaulted an adult female known to him.
The 25-year-old male from Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Sexual Assault
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on May 23, 2017. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
