CORNWALL, Ontario – Environment Canada is reporting that frost is likely in store for most of Cornwall and SD&G tonight.
“Temperatures are expected to dip to near the zero degree mark under partly cloudy skies overnight though Wednesday morning,” reads the advisory from Environment Canada.
It is recommended that any outdoor plants be brought in or covered if possible.
Environment Canada states that it issues frost advisories when temperatures dip below zero during the growing season because damage to crops and outdoor plants is a possibility.
