Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Monday, Feb. 20 and charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, threats and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. He was also charged with breach of recognizance for communicating with someone he has conditions not to communicate with. It is alleged on Feb. 10, the man threatened his girlfriend with a knife and threatened to damage property that belonged to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT, THREATS, MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 54-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 17, 2017 and charged with assault, threats and mischief. It is alleged during an argument on Feb. 17, 2017 the man pushed his ex-girlfriend, threatened her and broke her glasses. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Michaela Farrell, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on Feb. 17, 2017 and charged with failing to attend for prints. It’s alleged the woman failed to attend for prints on Feb. 9, 2017 and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 17, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Mar. 2, 2017.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Bradley Legue, 31 of Cornwall was arrested on Feb. 17, 2017 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On Feb. 17, 2017 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on Mar. 23, 2017.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 17, 2017 and charged with breach of undertaking for attending his ex-common-law wife’s residence and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on Feb. 17, 2017 the man attended his ex-common-law’s residence despite his conditions and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT, BREACH, PERSONATION

Cornwall, ON – Michael Masson, 30 of Williamstown was arrested on Feb. 17, 2017 on the strength of a warrant and also charged with personation and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man who was wanted on a warrant falsely identified himself to police during a traffic stop on Feb. 17, 2017. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Wyatt Pilon, 19 of Morrisburg was arrested on Feb. 18, 2017 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged Feb. 18, 2017 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Tollgate Road and McConnell Avenue. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.

Cornwall, ON – Michel Morin, 44 of Cornwall was arrested on Feb. 17, 2017 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged Feb. 18, 2017 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Holly Cross Boulevard. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.

THREATS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 30-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 18, 2017 and charged with threats and breach of undertaking for communicating with his ex-common-law wife. It is alleged the man repeatedly communicated with his ex-common-law wife through social media despite his conditions and threatened to harm their children. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Feb. 19, 2017 and charged with breach of undertaking for being out past curfew and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on Feb. 18, 2017 the youth failed to return home prior to curfew and police were contacted to investigate. In the early morning hours of Feb. 19, 2017 the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

THREATS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Davis Craig, 26 of Cornwall was arrested on Feb. 19, 2017 and charged with threats. It is alleged during an argument on Feb. 19, 2017 the man threatened to kill a person known to him and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Mar. 23, 2017.

ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – Tristen Pawis-Gauthier, 18 of Cornwall was arrested on Feb. 19, 2017 and charged with assault cause bodily harm. It is alleged during a fight at a local bar in the early morning hours of Feb. 19, 2017 the woman punched another woman in the nose causing her to seek medical attention. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Mar. 28, 2017.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Mitchell MacKay, 18 was arrested on Feb. 19, 2017 and charged with assault. It is alleged on Feb. 19, 2017 the man entered a local restaurant and assaulted a 16-year-old youth known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Mar. 28, 2017.
