CORNWALL, Ontario – Do you love animals and all things possessing a motor and at least two wheels?

If you answered ‘yes’ – you’re in luck. On Sunday, Aug. 20, the Ontario SPCA Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Animal Centre will hit the open road to support animals in need at its Cash for Critters Motorcycle & Car Rally.

The event is set to take place at the NAV Centre, where participants will set out on scenic cruise along the St. Lawrence River. Once finished their ride, patrons will return to enjoy a BBQ and will have a chance to win a slew of great prizes.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Animal Centre to help animals in the community.

“We are excited to be holding this event again to bring together animal lovers and motor enthusiasts in support of animal welfare,” said Carol Link, Manager of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Animal Centre. “It will be a fantastic opportunity to hit the road and raise some much-needed funds to help animals in our community.”

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with the ride shifting into gear at 10 a.m. The cost is $25 per person or free with over $25 in pledges. Pick up your pledge form at the Animal Centre, located at 550 Boundary Rd.
