On Aug.30th at the Stormont County Fair Demolition Derby, in a combined effort between the Newington Firefighters Association and Mac Tools a total of $4000.00 was raised for Ian Butcher’s Sky-High for Roger’s House Climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. Money was raised by raffling off tickets for a tool chest full of tools courtesy of Mac Tools $2025.00 and with tickets sold for a derby car by the Firefighters $1525.00 the car was donated by Chad Bilmer and the Firefighter’s Association donated $450.00.
