On Nov. 7 more than 200,000 Grade 9 students across Canada will spend the day at work, job-shadowing a parent, relative, or a friend. St. Joseph’s Continuing Care centre participated in the grade nine program. The goal of the program is to help students develop an appreciation for the importance of getting a high school diploma and pursuing post-secondary studies. Students also can develop an appreciation for their parents’ career and role in supporting their family.
