LALONDE – Jean Paul

At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 12, 2009. Jean-Paul Lalonde of Alexandria; age 87 years. Beloved husband of Lorette Lalonde. Dear father of Marie Lalonde (late Claude) of Bainsville, Denise Lalonde (Claude) of Montreal, André Lalonde (Rachelle) of Edmonton, Alberta, Nicole Tessier (Klaus) of Bainsville, Jeannine Lalonde (Bob) of Long Sault, Rhéal Lalonde (Linda) of St. Isidore and Monique St. Denis (Paul) of Glen Robertson. Predeceased by two daughters, Berthe and Vivianne Lalonde and by three sons, Marcel, Paul-Emile and Alain Lalonde. Dear brother of Cécile Legroulx and Odette Lalonde both of Lancaster. Predeceased by his parents, Omer and Marie-Ange Lalonde and his sister, Rita Lauzon. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cecile MacGillivray (nee Martin) passed away peacefully with her family Donna, Richard, Tyler (fiancee Samantha) and Tara (Philip) by her side on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 at the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge in Cornwall. Age 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Reginald MacGillivray. Dear mother of Richard MacGillivray and Donna-Ann Berger (Jim Johnson) of Cornwall. Also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Isaie Martin and the late Marie Veilleux. Predeceased by one brother and two sisters. To honour Mrs. MacGillivray’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No visitation. A private Liturgy of the Word was held in the chapel of Boulerice Funeral Home Ltd. on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009. BURNELL – Beulah (née Sampson)

Passed away peacefully at Chateau Gardens Nursing Home on Friday November 13th, 2009 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Burnell. Loving mother of Wright Burnell of Apple Hill, ON and Heather Tuck of Australia. Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Wright and Hattie Sampson, and 2 brothers. To honour Beulah’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Committal will take place at a later date in North Hatley Cemetery, North Hatley, Quebec.
