RAYMOND – John Keith

Passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. John Keith Raymond of Cornwall, age 80 years. Beloved husband of Carole (Merpaw) Raymond. Dear father of Karen Raymond (Ron) of Oakville, Douglas Raymond of Fort McMurray, Heather O’Brien (Francis) of Oakville, David Raymond (Melinda) of Guelph and Joanne Therriault (Jean) of Domionville. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Robyn, Katelyn, Melissa, Emmett, Sean, Nia, Mathew and Cameron. Dear son of the late Johnson Raymond and the late Elizabeth (McDonald) Raymond. Dear brother of Gwelda (Dr. Joe McLean) of Cornwall. Predeceased by one brother, Anson Raymond and by two sister, Barbara Grant and Kay Pulcine. MELDRUM – Heather

Passed away suddenly at home on Monday, April 13, 2009, age 62 years. Heather Fay Meldrum (née MacLeod) of Berwick. Beloved wife of Bryan Meldrum. Loved mother of Terry Meldrum (Joanne) of Crysler and Tim Meldrum (Kellie) of Finch. Dear brother of Robert (Bud) MacLeod of Montreal, Terry MacLeod (Penny) of Ottawa and Linda Leduc (Marcel) of Finch. Sadly missed by her four grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Tye, Allie and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Archie and Gladys (Carlisle) MacLeod and two brothers, Doug (Bertha of Russell) and Scott (Helen of Finch). Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home, 18 Front St. Finch on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. (A Service in Celebration of Heather Meldrum’s life will be held in Chalmer’s United Church, Finch on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 11am.) Reverend Lois Gaudet officiating. Passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Sandra (Munro) Lapierre of Cornwall, age 57 years. Beloved wife of the late Angus (Nelson) Lapierre. Dear mother of Douglas Lapierre (Carol), Robert Lapierre (Theresa) and Andrew Lapierre (Diane Waldon) all of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Justin, Tanisha, Zachary, Jamie and Jenna. Dear daughter of the late Gordon Munro and the late Charlotte (Beckett) Munro. Dear sister of Joan Frasier (Bob) of BC and Jean Seymour (James Wilson) of Cornwall. Predeceased by three brothers, Bernard, Carl and Albert Munro and by one sister, Nancy Campbell. Cremation. Dear mother of William (Bill) Brydges Jr. (Jeannine) of Oakville, John Brydges (Roselle) of Renfrew, Louise Charron (Paul) and Diane McMillan (Keith) both of Cornwall. Predeceased by one daughter, Carol Brydges and by one son, Brian Brydges. Dear mother-in-law of Judy Brydges (late Brian) of Mississauga. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Hormidas Landry and the late Clara (Gagné) Landry. Dear sister of Raymond Landry (Thérèse) of Chambly, Québec. Dear sister of Lucette Chernuka (George) of Donnely, AB, Denis Charbonneau (late Debbie) of Edmonton, AB and Paul Charbonneau (Jennifer) of Lancaster. Predeceased by six brothers, Roland, Paul, Gerard, Henri, Armand and Arthur Meunier and three sisters, Ida Paquin, Juliette Robert and Simone Robert. Brother-in-law of Laurent and Rita Boulerice of Cornwall and Marie Laroche of Windsor. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Will be sadly missed by Diane and Richard Boulerice. Cremation. Sadly missed by her grandson, Stéphane Ladouceur (Amy) and her three great-grandchildren, Christian, Allison and Kaylen. Also survived by her sister, Angeline Bernier (late Laurent) of Montreal, QC. Predeceased by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. Will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation. The family will be in attendance in Ste. Rose-de-Lima Church, 300 Perrot Boulevard, Ile-Perrot, QC on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 10am. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11am.
