Passed away at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. (Founder and former owner of Glen Robertson Welding), formerly of Glen Robertson, at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Rollande Lefebvre (née Thauvette). Loving father of Diane Ménard (Denis St. Jean) of Alexandria, Denise Lefebvre (James Pineau) of Alfred, Hélène Lefebvre (Albert Lefebvre) of Williamstown and Daniel Lefebvre (Nancy) of Glen Robertson. Cherished grandfather of Steven, Martin, Marc-André, Luc, Stéphanie, Michaël, Alexandre, Jacob and great-grandfather of Kaleb. Dear brother of Romuald Lefebvre (Claudette) of St-Justine-de-Newton, Denis Lefebvre (Jocelyne) of St-Clet, Gabrielle Charlebois (Raymond) of St-Justine-de-Newton, Florence Duperron of Toronto and brother-in-law of Gaetanne Lefebvre of St-Justine-de-Newton. Predeceased by his parents Doris Lefebvre and Marie-Clair Sauvé, his brother Gaston Lefebvre and sister Gisèle Fournier. EDMOND – Joyce Rose (née Julien)

Passed away at the Janet Macdonell Pavilion on Sunday, November 2, 2008, formerly of Cornwall, at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of the late Donat Emond. Dear mother of Linda Synott (David) of Long Salt and Robert Emond (Vicki Burd) of Forrest, ON. Predeceased by one son Raymond Emond. Loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by three grandchildren Debbie and twins Shane and Sherry. Dear daughter of the late Isaac Julien and the late Ethel (Gallinger) Julien. Dear sister of Carol Sanderson (Ron) of Toronto. BARBARA – Michael (Mike)

Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the age of 74 years. (Former owner of Barbara’s Store, Alexandria and an active member of both the Alexandria Lions Club and Community Living Glengarry). Loving husband to Aline Decaire for 49 years and devoted father to David, Debra (Jim Baker), Deana and Dale. Sadly missed by grandchildren Michael, Julia and William Baker, Leah and Steven St-Denis and Emily Barbara. Dear brother of Lloyd (Marie) of Toronto and Julia Low (Michael O’Donnell) of Montreal. Predeceased by his parents Theophile and Agia Barbara and by his sister Elaine Rapier. Survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Passed away peacefully at the Community Nursing Home on Friday, October 31, 2008, formerly of Alexandria and Glen Robertson at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of Lionel Ouimet and loving mother of Louise Sherren (Anthony) of Georgetown, Michel Ouimet of Alexandria, Daniel Ouimet (Guylaine) of Glen Robertson and Claudine Nadeau (Denis) of Alexandria. Cherished grandmother of Mélanie, Patrick, Stéphani, Christian, Ghislain, Nicholas and Karine. Dear daughter of the late Alexandre Brunet and Marie-Louise Marleau. Dear sister of Claude Brunet (Germaine) of Hawkesbury, Rita Binette, Aline Anderson (Maurice) and her twin sister, Fleurette Renaud all of Ottawa, Lucette Brunet of Montreal, Huguette Brunet of Orléans and Marguerite Elder (Steve) of Ottawa. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a six-year battle with cancer on Friday, October 31, 2008. (Dispatcher and scale man for Cruickshank Construction) formerly of Green Valley at the age of 61 years. Beloved husband of Laurence Campeau (née Filion). Loving father of Stéphane Campeau (Lynne Martin) of Limoges and Jacinthe Campeau (Jeff Lavigne) of Dalkeith. Cherished grandfather of Danick, Mélyna, Joël and Janessa. Dear son of the late Adolphus Campeau and the late Marie-Jeanne Benard. Brother of Allette Michaud (Bernard King) of Ottawa, Claudette Delorme (Rolland) of Alexandria and Suzanne Gareau (Robert) of Green Valley. Predeceased by three sisters, Florence Paulin, Gloria Campeau, Cécile Depratto and by three brothers, Raymond, Yvon and Lucien Campeau. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Passed away suddenly at this residence on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the age of 78 years. (Former teacher at Tagwi Secondary School). Beloved husband of Joan Solly. Loving father of Bradley Julien, Martha Julien (Frank), Kathleen Michels (Frank) and Nora Julien (Harold). Dear brother of Eleanor Lalonde (John), Barbara Nugent (John) and Molleen Secord. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Kayleigh, Owen, Avery, Keegan, Nelson, Daniel, and Ehren. Predeceased by his parents Thomas Julien and Maude Leroux, one daughter Jennifer and by one sister Vivian Gerard. Rested at Wilson Funeral Home. Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the age of 46 years. Beloved son of Anna Margaret Hay (née MacSweyn) and the late Alexander Ross Hay. BOUCK – Carolyn Shirley (née Stansel)

Passed away at Sandfield Place on Saturday, October 25, 2008 formerly of Lakeview Heights. Dear daughter of the late Edward and Ada Stanel. Dear sister of Bill (Marie) of Georgetown and John of Cornwall, Edna Smith (Wilfred) of Delta, B.C., and Ruth Lajoie (Eric) of Cornwall. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Donald (1995), brothers Howard (Mary), Clarence (Nettie), Harold (Orleen) and Charles and sister Marie Beach (late Karl). Dearest friend of Ray and Linda Gareau of Cornwall. Memorial service will be held at a later date.

CRUICKSHANK – Blake

The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Blake Cruickshank at the Winchester Hospital on Thursday, October 16, 2008 in his 82nd year. A longtime resident of Morrisburg and one of the founding members of Cruickshank Construction. He was born in Bristol Mines, Quebec to the late Percy Cruickshank and Mary Findlay. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Sheila (nee Lang) and his cherished daughters Kim (Bob Burns) of Cornwall, Brenda (Gary) McIntosh of Morrisburg and Heather (Marc) Hewison of Nassau, Bahamas. Loving brother of Les (Marlene) of Iroquois. A beloved “Poppy” to Jeremy, Adam and Cameron McIntosh, Ethan, Quinn and Lauren Hewison. Predeceased by one brother Bill and his wife Pearl. Rested at Parker Funeral Home. The Funeral Service was held at St. James Anglican Church, Morrisburg on Monday, October 20, 2008. Cremation with private inurnment at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Morrisburg.

Dear mother of Beverley (Mark) Comfort, Donna (Andy Burrell) Standring, both of Cardinal and Bob of Williamsburg. Loving grandma of Kaitlyn and Samantha Shaver, Brandon and Nicholas Burrell, Terahlyn and Treena Standring. Dear sister of Ida Beebe of Montreal. Predeceased by sisters Doris Ross and infant Dorothy Beebe, brothers Cecil, Willis and Ralph Beebe. Rested at Parker Funeral Home.
