Passed away at the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria on Sunday, October 26, 2008, formerly of Alexandria at the age of 92 years. Dear brother of Juliette Filion of Cornwall. Predeceased by five brothers, Leo Paul, Hector, Claude, Earnest and Paul Emile Rochon and by three sisters, Stella Montreuil, Alice Dugas and Pauline Lanthier. Passed away peacefully at Janet Macdonell Pavilion on Sunday, October 26, 2008, formerly of Cornwall. Predeceased by her husband John. Passed away on October 18, 2008. A most cherished man has gone to his Father. Marcel leaves his beloved wife Dolores (Quesnel), his precious children Jocelyne, Gilbert (Christine), Alain (Diana), Louis (Suzelle), Paul (Susan) and Denis; his adored grandchildren Shawn, Kim, Aneka, Kaitlyn, Tanya, Carolyne, Eric, Myriam, Jérémie, Trysta and Karyssa; and his siblings Cécile, Francoise Bray (the late Arthur), Bruno (Jacqueline), Marguerite Thompson (Morris), Jacqueline James (Willy), Rachel Barry (Bernard), Denise Rowe (Pat), Robert (Trish). Predeceased by his parents William Legault and Liliane Doré; his brothers Édouard (Antoinette), Maurice (Thérèse), Rolland (Patricia); his sister Elizabeth Lefebvre (the late Francis); and his in-laws. Marcel will be fondly remembered by his neighbours and by the many friends that he made through his involvement in agriculture, his community and local clubs. MACLENNAN – Christena Harriet

Passed away at the Maxville Manor on Thursday, October 9, 2008, age 98 years. She was a resident of Cornwall and later lived in Kirkhill before moving to Maxville Manor. She was born on March 29, 1910 in Laggan, a daughter of the late D.D. MacLennan and the late Mary MacDonald. Survived by nephews, Harold MacLeod (Karen) of Kirkhill, A.D. MacLeod (Gail) of Westbank, B.C. and predeceased by her niece Donna Cameron (Randy) of Moose Creek. She is the last surviving member of her family and is predeceased by her brothers, Duncan, D.A. Charles and Roderick and by her sisters, Annie (late J.K. MacLeod), Mabel (late Alexander MacLeod), Jessie (late Kenzie MacDonald), Catherine (late William James) and Charlotte MacLennan. MACLENNAN – Christena Harriet

Passed away at the Maxville Manor on Thursday, October 9, 2008, age 98 years. She was a resident of Cornwall and later lived in Kirkhill before moving to Maxville Manor. She was born on March 29, 1910 in Laggan, a daughter of the late D.D. MacLennan and the late Mary MacDonald. Survived by nephews, Harold MacLeod (Karen) of Kirkhill, A.D. MacLeod (Gail) of Westbank, B.C. and predeceased by her niece Donna Cameron (Randy) of Moose Creek. She is the last surviving member of her family and is predeceased by her brothers, Duncan, D.A. Charles and Roderick and by her sisters, Annie (late J.K. MacLeod), Mabel (late Alexander MacLeod), Jessie (late Kenzie MacDonald), Catherine (late William James) and Charlotte MacLennan. Rested at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes, Alexandria. A Memorial Service was held in the Funeral Home on Oct. 15. Interment of Cremated Remains at St. Columba Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Kirkhill.

COLBRAN – Barbara

Passed away at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on Thursday, October 9, 2008. Mrs. Barbara Glenna Colbran (née Lancaster) of Alexandria, Ontario, age 63 years. Beloved wife of James (Jimmy) Colbran and loving mother of Scott (Donna) of Greenfield, Ontario and Larry (Maureen) of Kemptville, Ontario. Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Autumn, Kayla and Cameron. Dear sister of Bert Lancaster (Darlene) of Woodlawn, Ontario and sister-in-law of Norm Deavy of Navan, Ontario. Predeceased by her parents, Stanton Lancaster and Dorothy Walsh and by her one sister, Lana Deavy. Rested at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., Maxville, Ontario. A celebration of Barbara’s life was held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Oct. 15. Interment, Maxville Cemetery.
