THIBAULT, Joyce (Harrison) – Passed away peacefully at Hospice Cornwall surrounded by her family on Wednesday May 18, 2011. She was 74. She leaves her loving husband of almost 55 years, Lester Thibault. Loving mother of Larry Thibault (Liz) and JoAnne Black (Bryan). Sadly missed by 4 grandchildren, Emily, Joseph, Jessica (Sterling), Amanda (Simon) and 3 great grandchildren, Riley Jo, Ella Grace and Pearl. Predeceased by her parents, Richard and Jayne Ann (Waites) Harrison, 4 brothers, Arthur, John, James, Ivor and one sister Bessie. Friends will be received at the M. SWINDEN, Norma (nee Walton) – 1920- 2011 – Norma passed away peacefully in Montreal on May 15, 2011 at the age of 91, after a good and full life. She had an unfailing positive outlook and loved books, movies, painting (at which she excelled), social gatherings, scalding hot coffee and a good laugh. Late in life she discovered a talent for playing pool which she enjoyed with her friends at Kirkland Manor. She was caring and giving and volunteered for many organizations over the years. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Predeceased by husband Bill in 1990, brothers Harry (Margaret) and Graham (Beulah), sister Vera (Jim) and sister-in-law Dorothy Swinden. She is survived by sons Ron in Vancouver, Bill (Pam) in Cornwall, Gary (Wendy) in Whitby, and Dale in Toronto; grandsons David, Jamie, Bruce and Tristan; as well as, her sister-in-law Lilias Snell (Paul) of Unionville and her many nieces and nephews. NOLAN, Roger – Passed away peacefully at Hospice Cornwall on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. He was 59. Beloved wife of Dianne (Huard-Bertrand) Nolan. Dear father of Sherry and Mark Nolan and step-father of Lisa Morris, Chantal, Phillipe, Mike, Edward and the late Andy Bertrand. Sadly missed by many grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. McELHONE, Stella (Lanois) – Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Wednesday May 18, 2011. She was 92. Beloved wife of the late Leonard McElhone. Dear mother of Ron McElhone (Dora). Sadly missed by 2 grandchildren, Ron and Shawn and one great grandchild, Cassandra. Survived by one brother, Bruno Lanois. Terry as he was fondly known by friends and family, passed away on May 19, 2011 after a courageous 8 month battle with cancer.
