WHITE, Germaine (née Pilon) – Passed away at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, Cornwall on Monday, May 13, 2013, age 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert White. Loved daughter of the late Ovila and Zepherine (née Lamarre) Pilon. Dear sister of Réjeanne, Jeannine, Simone and Noel and predeceased by her siblings Roger, Georges, Florimon, Edgar and Marcel Pilon, Aurore, Noella, and Yvette. Special aunt of Anne MacDonell and sadly missed by many other nieces and nephews. Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME,822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Thursday from 9am until the time of Service. The Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11am. Cremation with Rite of Committal at a later date in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery, Williamstown, Ontario. McINTYRE, Lorne Richard – Passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer, peacefully with his family by his side at Hospice Cornwall on Friday, May 10, 2013, age 61 years. Beloved son of the late Newman and Anastasia (Robinson) McIntyre. Loved father of Kelly McDonald (Jayme) and Sarah McNish (Cory). Dear grampy of Kyle, Brock Layne, Monica and Carter. Brother of Anita Gillis (late Jimmy), John McDonald (Lucy), Carl McIntyre (Hannah), Ben McIntyre (Line), Donna Megan (Mike), Beverly Mitchell (Alain) and Shelly McManus (Joe). Lorne will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his sister Jeanette Berthelot (late Bill) and his brother Randy McDonald (Dale). MARSHALL, Paul Graham – Passed away in Ottawa onTuesday, April 2, 2013 after an almost three year battle with cancer. He died peacefully in his sleep accompanied by family members. He has left behind his life partner Christina Renwick, daughter Kristen, son William (Willy) and grandson Cole. He will be Interned in the Marshall Family Plot in Maxville on May 15, 2013 at 2pm. The family has requested that only family members and close friends be in attendance. I am sure that Paul would greatly appreciate a tipping of the glass in his memory at that time.

LANGFORD, Nancy (née Darby) – Mrs. Nancy Langford passed away at Sandfield Place Nursing Home on Sunday, May 12, 2013, age 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Langford. Loved mother of Geoff Langford (Cheryl) of Long Sault. Sadly missed by her two grandchildren Katherine and Michael Langford. Nancy was active in her life but especially proud of her contribution to her country as a Veteran of WWII – RAF, Aircraft Mechanic. She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Maude (née Berrill) Darby, and nine brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. GILLETTE, Eileen – Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, Cornwall on Saturday, May 11, 2013. Eileen Gillette (née Wood) of Cornwall, age 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Jules Gillette (1985). Dear mother of Fred (Julie) of Carp, Paul of Gatineau, Nelson (Debbie) of Maple Ridge, BC and Karen (John) Keeler of Iroquois. Cherished grandmother of twelve grandchildren. Loving sister of Earl (Florence) Wood of St. Catharines, Myrna Elderbroom of Cornwall, Wayne Wood of Cornwall, Robbin (Kris) Wood of Rockwood, Dale (Sue) Wood of Waterdown and Sherrol (Simon) Chretien of Corunna and brother-in-law Dino Delazzari of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents Joe and Alma (Leroux) Wood, brother Leonard (Vivian) Wood, sister Brenda Delazzari and brother-in-law Ray Elderbroom. CRUMP, Charles Wesley – Mr. Charles Crump passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site. Dear husband for 70 years of Nina (Duffey) Crump. Beloved father of Robert Crump (Barbara) of Ingleside, ON and Donna Labonte (Gregory) of Long Sault, ON. Cherished grandfather of Stefan Crump (Julie) of Cornwall, Jana Labonte of Lunenburg, ON and Kelley Labonte of North Saanich, B.C. Beloved great-grandfather of Ethan Crump, Everett Crump and Zane Labonte-Hagar. Dear brother of Garnet Crump of Chesterville, ON. Predeceased by his sister Margaret Helmer (Stanton) and brothers Halford, Leslie, Kenneth, James, Earl, Keith, Albert and Carl. Charles was born to Charles and Evelyn (Eamon) Crump on April 25, 1920. He attended S.S. #11 Winchester Public School and Chesterville High school, Cornwall Commercial College and ICS of Scranton, PA. and Algonquin College. After being released from the Canadian Army, he took a job at Courtaulds Canada Ltd. After six years with Industrial Acceptance Corp. as Accounts supervisor. He then spent the next 15 years with the Cornwall Credit Bureau Ltd. After this period, he chose not to retire, but went to M. Jean Cameron Real Estate Ltd., where he served for 17 years. Mr. Crump is a member of the Cornwall Masonic Lodge – Corinthians #125. Founder of the Long Sault Motel and the Heritage Motel. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church where he was an Elder for 22 years. He was also an Elder for 6 years at Long Sault United Church. He was property chairman for 35 years of Camp Kagama Ltd. youth camp and was instrumental in the moving of the camp from Sheik Island to Morrison Islands during the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and again on Wednesday from 9am until the time of the Service. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10am. Interment to follow in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault. BARNEY, Gerald A. -The family of Gerald Allen Barney sadly announce his unexpected but peaceful passing at the Ottawa General Hospital on Monday, May 13, 2013. Gerald was born on November 28, 1924 in Cornwall, Ontario, the son of George Barney and Merilda Plourde (both deceased). He was a proud veteran of The Royal Canadian Navy and served overseas for several years. He was the beloved husband of Aline Lavallée for almost 67 years. Father of Suzanne Empey (Ronnie), Michael (Elizabeth), Marc (Shirley Ann Holland) and Daniel (Suzanne). Also survived by his eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation at McEVOY-SHIELDS FUNERAL HOME, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa on Wednesday, May 15 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Thursday, May 16 from 8:30-9:30am. Funeral Mass at 10am on Thursday, May 16 at Holy Cross Church, 685 Walkley Road (near Riverside Drive), Ottawa. The family would like to thank the Perley-Rideau staff and the Acute Care staff at the General Hospital, in particular Dr. Peter Andrews, for their care and compassion.
