CORNWALL POLICE: The masked avenger…not

CORNWALL, Ontario – A woman has been charged by police for trying to rob a Cornwall store – all the while while concealing her face – only to be foiled by the business owner.

Police said the woman entered a Belmont Street convenience store and demanded cash. She then punched the store owner and removed a quantity of cash from the register and tried to bolt from the scene.

She was detained by the store owner and a neighbour until police arrived.

Danielle Vivarais, 21 of Cornwallwas charged with robbery and disguise with intent. She was held for a bail hearing.
