CORNWALL, Ontario – The North Glengarry-Stormont peewee B Braves have qualified for the finals of the Upper Canada Minor Hockey League after winning the eastern division finals.

In round one, the Braves overcame the South Stormont Selects in four games and went on to win the eastern division title by defeating the Char-Lan Rebels in round two, also in four games.

In the finals, the Braves will be taking on the western division champions, the Brockville Braves 2.

Game one of the three-game series will take place Monday, March 17 at 7 p.m. in Maxville.

In the event that neither team has five points following these three games, more will be scheduled.

NGS finished second place in the eastern division regular season with a record of 16-3-4. Their 35 points was only three behind Char-Lan, the top team in the east.
