Four arrested after early morning break-in

CORNWALL, Ontario  – As a result of an investigation into an early morning break and enter on July 26, 2017 at a Montreal Road address four persons all from Cornwall were located, arrested and charged as follows:

Breanna Degonzaque-Jodoin, 19

  • Break and enter
  • Breach of probation (fail to keep the peace)

Eric Gravel, 21

  • Break and enter

Robert MacDonald, 18

  • Break and enter
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of magic mushrooms

Eric Vien, 21

  • Break and enter

Degonzaque-Jodoin, Gravel and MacDonald were released to appear in court at a later date, while Vien was held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE

CORNWALL, Ontario – James Masson, 41, of Cornwall was arrested on July 25, 2017 and charged with assault cause bodily harm, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. It is alleged during a disagreement with another man on May 15, 2017, Masson struck the man several times with a piece of wood causing the man to seek medical attention. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 25, 2017 Masson attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
