CORNWALL, Ontario – A 46-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Oct. 16, 2017 and charged with assault with a weapon.
It is alleged during an argument on Oct. 3, 2017 the man threw a laundry basket at his common-law wife and police were contacted to investigate. On Oct. 16, 2017 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
