CORNWALL, Ontario – The Cornwall Gymnastics Club (CGC) has moved to a brand new and more spacious location.

The new home of the CGC is at 525 Boundary Rd. and they moved to the new location on Nov. 1. Previously, the CGC had been located further up Boundary Rd. at the intersection of Boundary Rd. and Industrial Park Dr.

Their new location boasts 19, 000 sq. ft. of floor space, 10, 000 more than they had previously.

Tammy McAllister of the CGC credits the landlord, who owns both locations, with helping her with the transition.

“We now have paved parking, airconditioning, which the old place didn’t have,” McAllister explained. “We are going to be here for life. We have plans to grow here. This is one of the bigger gyms in Ontario that I’ve been too.”

McAllister says that she has heard nothing but good reactions so far to the new digs and that registration has been higher than expected.

“We have added some new classes,” she said. “We’ve added Junior Jumpers, which is for children 6 and over and is open to all levels, we’ve added a cheerleading class and a female, adult, gymnastics class.”

The CGC hopes to hold an open house sometime soon to celebrate their move.
