Fifth Annual United Way Holiday Wine & Gourmet Tastings raises $63,000

CORNWALL, Ontario – The United Way Holiday Wine & Gourmet Tastings Committee members are thrilled to announce that $63,000 was raised at this year’s Signature Event in support United Way/Centraide Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry . The evening was presented by Xplornet Communications. Guests of the sold out event enjoyed a spectacular evening of wine, gourmet food, jazz music, silent & live auction, magic, dancing & more at Nav Centre. 

Over 100 community partners contributed to the success of this signature event for United Way. Support was received through sponsorship, financial support, auction items and in-kind donations. All proceeds from the event stay in SDG to support those in need and change lives in our local community.

“Everyone involved is a United Way HERO and we wish to express our deepest gratitude to our community partners, sponsors and guests who made this evening a tremendous success”, said Karen & Ray Brunet, Event Chairpersons. “We are excited to support United Way. We’re raising much needed funds for our community, which will stay in our community.”
