Cornwall man accused of distributing child pornography

CORNWALL, Ontario – An 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Dec. 7, 2017 and charged with distribution of child porn and make intimate images available without consent.

It is alleged the man posted an intimate video of him and his ex-girlfriend on the internet without her knowledge or consent and police were contacted to investigate. On Dec. 7, 2017 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 11th, 2018. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

CORNWALL, Ontario – Aaron Campeau, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 8, 2017 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to reside at a specific address and failing to notify a change of address to police. It is alleged the man was found to be in breach of his conditions when police attended his residence to do a compliance check. On Dec. 8, 2017 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Jan. 4, 2018

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, BREACH

CORNWALL, Ontario – Andy Courville, 30, and Ricky Courville, 28, both of Cornwall were arrested on Dec. 8, 2017 and charged with possession of stolen property. Andy was also charged with possession of speed and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on Dec. 8, 2017 the two men were found to be in possession of a stolen license plate during a traffic stop. They were taken into custody and Andy Courville was found to be in possession of a quantity of speed. Both men were charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.

IMPAIRED OPERATION, OVER 80

CORNWALL, Ontario – Zachary Gaspe, 23, of Alexandria was arrested on Dec. 9, 2017 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged in the early morning hours of Dec. 9, 2017 the man was driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Sydney Street and Seventh Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Dec. 28, 2017.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY, POSSESSION OF BREAK IN TOOLS, BREACH

CORNWALL, Ontario – Bradley Stephenson, 24, and Aldina Pirrone, 40, both of Cornwall were arrested on Dec. 10, 2017 and charged with possession of property obtained by crime. Stephenson was also charged with possession of break in tools and breach of two probation orders for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged in the early morning hours of Dec. 10, 2017 police found them in possession of stolen flood lights while in the area of Lefebvre Avenue. They were taken into custody and Stephenson was found to be in possession of break in tools. Both were charged accordingly and Pirrone was released to appear in court on Jan. 16., 2018 while Stephenson was held for a bail hearing.

REFUSAL

CORNWALL, Ontario – Richard Guillet, 25, of South Lancaster was arrested on Dec. 10, 2017 and charged with refusal. It is alleged on D. 10, 2017 the man failed to provide a proper sample of his breath upon demand during a traffic stop. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Dec. 21, 2017.

WARRANT

CORNWALL, Ontario – Kevin Tait, 63, of Grenville was arrested on Dec. 10, 2017 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on June 1, 2017 for several charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On Dec. 10, 2017 the man was taken into custody during a traffic stop on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – Nathanael Hutchinson, 31, was arrested on Dec. 10, 2017 and charged with criminal harassment. It is alleged on Sept. 29, 2017 the man repeatedly communicated with a woman not known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On Dec. 10, 2017 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
