Man charged with assault of another person and their dog

CORNWALL, Ontario – Mark George, 25, of Ottawa was arrested on Dec. 19, 2017 and charged with assault, assault with a weapon, injuring an animal, possession of metamphetamine, possession of novo-methylphenidate, breach of probation for failing to keep the peace and breach of recognizance for failing to remain in his Ottawa residence.

 It is alleged on Dec. 19, 2017 the man assaulted a man known to him, struck him with a golf club and kicked his dog. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was located by police, taken into custody and found to be in possession of controlled substances. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREAK AND ENTER, ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, BREACH

CORNWALL, Ontario – A 32-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Dec. 19, 2017 and charged with break and enter, assault, mischief and breach of recognizance for failing to notify a change of address. It is alleged on Dec. 5, 2017 the man forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s residence, damaged the door and assaulted her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Dec. 19, 2017 the man was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING, POSSESSION

CORNWALL, Ontario – Alcide Ceasor, 54, and Calvin Ceasor, 29, both of Cornwall were arrested on Dec. 19, 2017 and charged with possession of cocaine and hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking. Calvin Ceasor was also charged with possession of marijuana and fentanyl. It is alleged the men were found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine and hydromorphone during a traffic stop. Both men were taken into custody and Calvin Ceasor was found to be in possession of marijuana and fentanyl. Both were charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
