CORNWALL, Ontario – Rurban Brewing is hosting its first ever ‘Stache Bash on Saturday, Nov. 24. All funds raised will be donated to Victim Services of SDG&A.

“It’s November so there’s a lot of silly moustaches around,” said Andy Rorabeck, co-owner of Rurban Brewing. “We wanted to do something fun, like usual, and also donate to a local cause. Victim Services is a place that we haven’t yet worked with…so we decided on (donating to) them.”

Participants of all genders can enter the competition for just $4 and create a moustache to display, or they can show off their natural looks. Registration for the event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the ‘Stache Parade commencing at 2:45 p.m. Three winners will be announced at 3:30 p.m. in the categories of Judges Favourite, Crowd Favourite and Staff Favourite.

‘Stache bearers will have the chance to win Rurban apparel, gift cards and all entrants will receive a new Rurban glass. Food for the event will be donated by ESCA Gourmet Pizza + Bar and tap room pours will be available for $4. All donations will go towards Victim Services.

“We’re hoping someone will bring something fun and outlandish,” said Rorabeck.
