CORNWALL, Ontario – At 10 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, youth of St. John’s Presbyterian Church acted in the annual Youth Pageant, celebrating the Fourth Sunday in the Advent.
Debbie Adams Plant, Youth Program Director, guided the children throughout their Christmas performance. The children frequently engaged parishioners to take part in singing Christmas hymns and reflect.
“This year, we get to see everything through the eyes of the stars,” said Adams Plant. One narrator, an old star, explained watching over the events leading up to the birth of Jesus to a new star.
The performance was met with great applause and enjoyment.
