SOUTH GLENGARRY, Ontario – OPP officers are asking for the public’s assistance in an attempted armed robbery case that occurred on Thursday, Dec. 27 at approximately 1:43 p.m.

An investigation indicated that at Summerset Acres Rd. and County Rd. 2, one male suspect approached the victim, a Canada Post employee, brandishing an edged weapon. The suspect stated, “this is a hold up.”

The victim immediately left the scene without sustaining injury. It is alleged the suspect may have left the scene in a silver, four door Sedan.

The suspect is described as the following:

Male, Caucasian, slim build, 20 to 25-years-old, brown hair approximately 5 to 6 inches long with a ‘reddish’ moustache. He was wearing black jogging pants, a grey hoodie, dark rimmed glasses and white soled skater shoes. He has a French accent.
