CORNWALL, Ontario – The Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH) are seeking patients who require cataract surgery.
Wait times for the surgery at the hospital are down to four-to-six weeks as the CCH strives to meet it’s budgeted goal of completing 1,327 surgeries before March 2019.
Each fiscal year, the Champlain Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) budgets the number of surgeries for cataracts the hospital will be able to perfom and the CCH wants to ensure that it is fully serving the community.
“This is a great opportunity for anyone who has been thinking about or waiting a long time to get this procedure done,” said Ginette Ferguson, Senior Director of Critical Care and Perioperative Services.
