CORNWALL, Ontario – A 22-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 2, 2019 and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace.

It is alleged during an argument with his girlfriend, the man drove his motor vehicle in the area of York St. and Fourth St. with his girlfriend’s arms caught in the door window and her body dragging outside of the vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter. The victim was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
