CORNWALL and UNITED COUNTIES of SD&G, Ontario – Both the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) and the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO) have closed their schools on Tuesday, Feb. 12 and Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (STEO) has cancelled all busing.
The local French Catholic CDSCEO and French Public CEPEO school boards have decided to keep schools open.
St. Lawrence College has cancelled all classes and activities scheduled for after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
All of this due to an incoming snow storm. Environment Canada warns that as much as 40 cm is expected to fall in the region between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon along with winds up-to 60 km/h.
