Two charged in Iroquois Circle K armed robbery

SOUTH DUNDAS, Ontario –  On Feb. 18, 2019 at approximately 9:30pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, with the assistance of the SD&G Crime Unit, responded to a report of an armed robbery at convenience store in the Village of Iroquois, South Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated two unknown suspects entered the store with a weapon and demanded cash. The Suspects fled the scene with a quantity of Canadian Currency and tobacco products.

No injuries resulted.

The suspects were located in the area and were arrested and charged. The two males were also charged in relation to a robbery with a weapon at the same location.

Kasey Molson, 34, of Cardinal, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

–             Robbery with weapon (two counts)

–             Disguise with Intent (two counts)

–             Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose (two counts)

–             Conspiracy to commit indictable offence

 

Travis Visser, 28, of Augusta Township, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

–             Robbery with weapon (two counts)

–             Disguise with Intent (two counts)

–             Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose (two counts)

–             Conspiracy to commit indictable offence

Both males were held in custody (bail) and are to appear in Ontario Court of justice in Cornwall, Ontario.

The SD&G Crime Unit continue to Investigate and no further information to be released at this time.
