SOUTH STORMONT, Ontario – On Feb. 15, 2019 at approximately 5:36 a.m. SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle on Jenkins Rd., South Stormont, ON. The investigation revealed that a Chevrolet Impala had been taken from the residence without the owner’s consent. Shortly thereafter Police located the vehicle and the driver.
William MacDonald, 24, of South Stormont, ON, was arrested and is charged with;
– Take Motor vehicle without consent
– Fail To Comply with conditions of a probation order (three counts)
– Drive under suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
He was held in custody (bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
