SOUTH STORMONT, Ontario – One driver has been killed following a single vehicle collision on Hwy 401.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. on Friday, March 1, a single motor vehicle travelling Westbound on Hwy 401 between Moulinette Rd. and Dickinson Dr. entered the median for reasons under investigation.
The lone occupant, Jeffery Alan McCullen of West Virginia, USA, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
SDG OPP officers are continuing to process the scene. They are investigating the collision with the assistance of OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).
Westbound highway lanes between Moulinette Rd. and Dickinson Dr. will remain closed as the investigation continues. Detours have been established.
