CORNWALL, Ontario – A 51-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 1, 2019 and charged with sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching, sexual interference, and sexual exploitation. It is alleged between 2005-2012, the man sexually assaulted his step-daughter while she was between the ages of 11-17. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 1, 2019 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 25, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
