CORNWALL, Ontario – All school buses have been cancelled across Cornwall, SDG for Monday, April 8, making for the 11th time school transportation has been cancelled this school year.
The Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (STEO) released the following statement early this morning:
“Monday, April 8, 2019: All transportation is cancelled for the day. A freezing rain warning is in effect for the region, with a few hours of freezing rain forecast for the morning and a high risk of treacherous travel conditions. Schools remain open,” read the statement.
Environment Canada called for freezing rain across the region on April 7, predicting it to last throughout the afternoon on April 8.
