Cornwall man arrested for robbery

CORNWALL, Ontario – Kyle Delorme, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on April 25, 2019 on the strength of multiple warrants. He was also charged with robbery and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace.

It is alleged on Feb. 2, 2019, the man struck someone known to him and took his watch without permission and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The man further breached his probation and an additional warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 25, 2019, police were called to investigate a robbery at a Second Street convenience store, where the man is alleged to have demanded money from the clerk and fled after taking several lottery tickets. Police located the man a short time later. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.
