Hosted in South Stormont, this day-long event will provide opportunities to hear from and engage with noted professionals and experienced practitioners who have worked on creating walkable and bikeable rural communities.

Royal Canadian Legion (2nd St). Doors open at 4 pm, dinner served at 5 pm. Spaghetti, Caesar salad, garlic bread and desserts. Have some fun with family and friends at the 5K Purple Colour Fun Run for SASS (Sexual Assault Support Services for Women of SDG&A)! The run takes place on the recreational path near the Cornwall Community Museum in Lamoureux Park.

JUNE 15 – BREWERY BIKE TOUR

Bike Centric presents a 65-kilometre supported bike tour featuring stops at Humble Beginnings Brewing Co. and Rurban Brewing. Ride on the Waterfront Trail and take in the scenic Long Sault Parkway! Bring your wallet to purchase some of the fine products at the two stops. Ride includes: – Support vehicle – Delicious lunch – Beer samples at the breweries. Ride begins at 10 am at the Cornwall Aquatic Centre (free parking is available).

JUNE 15 – HISTORICAL DRIVING TOUR HOSTED BY THE GLENGARRY PIONEER MUSEUM

The Glengarry Pioneer Museum will explore the history of the St. Eugene and Hawkesbury areas. This year the tour will begin in Dalkeith with registration at 8:30 a.m. It will finish at Le Chenail in Hawkesbury with the traditional oak cakes, lemonade and scotch. Cost for the tour is $40 for non-members or $35 for members. This includes a morning snack, lunch, speakers, and all entrance fees. JUNE 21-23 – DK GOLD CUP REGIONAL QUALIFIER

The Cornwall BMX Track in Guindon Park is playing host to the DK Gold Cup Regional Qualifier! It’s one of the biggest BMX events on the calendar and it’s expected to attract upwards of 250 competitors from across eastern Canada and the United States. It will be a three-day event spread out over the weekend of June 21-23, starting with a local race on a Friday, the DK Gold Cup Regional Qualifier on Saturday and a BMX Canada Provincial Qualifier on the Sunday. The race weekend will be open to all riders who hold a BMX Canada/USABMX licence.

The Cornwall Stroll for Liver is a family friendly, community-based outdoor 5km run or walk event in which individual or team participation is encouraged. The event is located at the St. Lawrence Power Development Visitor Centre and connects to Cornwall’s Waterfront Trail, a multi-use recreation path that spans the entire city’s waterfront, offering stunning views of the Cornwall Canal and the St Lawrence River. The event runs from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

A Painted Lady Butterflies in memory of loved ones will be taking place at the St. Mary’s Centre, 19641, County Rd. 19, Williamstown, ON from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Butterflies are $20 each and must be reserved and paid for by June 7, 2019. JUNE 23 – CIRCUS SPECTACULAR

The Circus is coming to Cornwall and bringing an action-packed 90 minutes of family fun and excitement! There will be BMX riders, clowns, motorcycles, Cossack riders and jugglers! Don’t miss out on this entertaining family event. There will be two 90-minute shows.
