Teen allegedly attacks teacher with a pencil

CORNWALL, Ontario – A 14-year-old Embrun youth was arrested on May 6, 2019 and charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. It is alleged the youth assaulted a teacher using a pencil and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. The name of the youth was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
