SOUTH DUNDAS, Ontario – On Wednesday, May 15, SDG OPP Community Street Crime Unit arrested a male in connection with thefts that took place on March 23.

Thomas Feese, 35, of South Dundas was arrested and is charged with:

–             Theft Over $5,000

–             Theft Under $5,000

He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall as an investigation continues.

On March 23 at approximately 7:37 a.m., SDG OPP responded to a report of two lawn tractors being taken from a business on County Rd. 2 in South Dundas Township.

An investigation indicated that sometime overnight (between the hours of  12 a.m. and 2 a.m.) unknown individuals attended a business and removed a 2019 Husqvarna orange lawn tractor. Shortly after, another theft occurred at the same business where a 2018 Yardworks lawn tractor and two utility trailers (2019 Stirling 60-084- silver and black 2018 Prairie view 61-10) were removed. Further investigation revealed six bicycles were removed as well.
