CORNWALL, Ontario – A man was found with serious injuries and transported to the Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH) after CPS received a call around 4:30 a.m. on June 27 indicating the man was found in the area of Pitt St. and Sixth St.
A section of Pitt St. from Sixth St. to Ninth St. is closed to traffic as investigators occupy the scene.
The CPS are requesting any witnesses come forward who may have seen what took place. The CPS Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Unit are on scene, still in early stages of investigation.
