CORNWALL, Ontario – If you are a lover of classical music, Chilean-Canadian pianist Alejandra Cifuentes Diaz could fill your evening with ‘romantic ambiance’ at Cathédrale de la Nativité on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 8 p.m.
The grand piano, candle-lit performance is set to offer inspiration and exploration within a local church, as Mozart’s K. 397 and K. 332 is interpreted, striving to offer an unforgettable experience. One of Mozart’s most popular sonatas, K. 545, will also be celebrated.
Sonatas of Beethoven that will be interpreted include The Tempest, Sonata Pathetique, Moonlight Sonata and Waldstein.
Admission to the evening will cost $30 and tickets are on sale at Melody Music at 104 Pitt St. Tickets will also be on sale the evening of the performance, taking place at 220 Montreal Rd.
