UPDATE: 2019-08-29/ 2:17 p.m.: CPS state that Ninth St. has now fully re-opened to traffic.
CORNWALL, Ontario – Two individuals were sent to hospital after a four vehicle crash on Ninth St. between Augustus and York streets in Cornwall on Thursday, Aug. 29.
The accident occurred around 12:15 p.m. and police, fire and paramedics were quickly on scene.
The two who were sent to hospital were sent there as a precautionary measure according to Cornwall Police Service (CPS) Communications Officer Stephanie MacRae.
At time of writing, the CPS are still investigating the crash and detours are in place around the accident. CPS is asking motorists to avoid the area.
