CORNWALL, Ontario – The St. Columban’s Catholic Women’s League (CWL) organized a Zombie Party for the kids at Bishop MacDonell Catholic Elementary School on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019.

Dozens of kids showed up Saturday afternoon in costume to take part in games and crafts at the school.

Dana Fry, President of the St. Columban’s CWL and organizer of the event said that her granddaughter took an interest in zombies and that she wanted to do something fun for the kids.

“My granddaughter was reading about zombies and did a zombie walk, and I thought it would be nice to do something like that for the kids here,” she said. “Also, we wanted to show that the CWL is not just about baking cookies and holding teas.”

Admission into the event was $5 per child and on their way out, each kid was given a little goodie bag with some candy.
