NORTH GLENGARRY, Ontario – On Oct. 26, 2019 Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers attended the scene of a two vehicle collision on County Rd. 20 in North Glengarry Twp.
Preliminary investigation has indicated that at approximately 12:53 p.m., a minivan was travelling northbound on County Rd. 20 when, for reasons under investigation, collided with a southbound pick-up truck.
The driver of the minivan, Robert Monks, 87 of Cornwall, ON was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The adult driver (lone occupant) of the pick-up truck received no injuries.
SD&G OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).
