CORNWALL, Ontario – It is that time of year again and the United Way of SD&G has announced that their annual Christmas Angels are officially on sale.

This is the 18th year that Pommier Jewellers has held their Angels Among Us campaign.

“This year’s Angel was inspired by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cornwall & District,” said Andre Pommier, owner of Pommier Jewellers. “The United Way and all their partnered agencies work very hard to create an impact in our community, especially with our youth, and we are grateful and happy to help them in any way we can.”

The United Way thanked Pommier for their many years of support.

“We hear many stories of people that have collected these ornaments over the years and now it has become a holiday tradition for their families. What a great tradition that I also intend to start” said Juliette Labossière, Executive Director of the United Way /Centraide of S.D. & G.

This year’s Angels are $20 plus tax and are available at both Pommier Jewellers and at the United Way office at 55 Water St. All proceeds made from the sale of the Angels will go to support United Way partnered agencies.
