Freezing rain warning for Cornwall

UPDATE: Nov. 19, 12:34 p.m., Environment Canada has ended its freezing rain warning for the region.

CORNWALL, Ontario – Environment Canada has issued its first Freezing Rain Warning of the season for the Cornwall area.

“Light to patchy freezing rain is expected near noon. The freezing rain may become mixed with snow at times, but is expected to last through the early part of the afternoon,” reads the Warning from Environment Canada.

According to The Weather Network‘s hourly forecast, precipitation, primarily snow, is expected to begin around noon and will continue until around 4 p.m. with temperatures hovering around zero degrees Celsius.
