NORTH GLENGARRY, Ontario – On July 11, 2019 at approximately 5:56 a.m., members of the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a home invasion in a residence on Kenyon Concession Rd. 8 in North Glengarry Twp.

The investigation has determined that three individuals, wearing disguises, broke into the residence and held the victim against his will, the suspects then stole items from the house before fleeing in a vehicle.

Officers responding to the call located the vehicle a short distance away with the victim inside. The culprits had since left the scene. The victim was not injured.

On Nov. 20, 2019 SD&G OPP crime unit members located the third individual involved in the incident, Andrew Servais, aged 33, of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and charged with;

– Robbery with weapon

– Disguise with intent

– Forcible confinement

– Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose

– Break and enter

– Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order (two counts)

– Kidnapping ( adult)

– Uttering threats

The accused was held in custody (bail) pending an appearance at Cornwall Court.
