CORNWALL, Ontario – Thousands attended the local Ghost Walk For Charity this year, travelling from as far as Montreal, Kingston and Belleville to take part in a unique and frightening haunted walk experience. Many ghouls also flocked to the Halloween Psycho Gala.

In its third year, The Ghost Walk for Charity raised a total of $24,000 and donated $8,000 to each local Baldwin House, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Habitat for Humanity. The cheque presentations were made at the location of this year’s Ghost Walk, 1400 Vincent Massey Dr.

“The Ghost Walk continues to grow each year,” said Ghost Walk Committee Chairman Mike Turcotte in a press release. “Because of the community’s support, we’ve been able to donate over $55,000 to local charities over
the past three years…our committee is already looking forward to planning for next year’s Ghost Walk. We’d like to thank our sponsors, volunteers and of course everyone who enjoyed this year’s Ghost Walk.”

The one-of-a-kind event has grown significantly over its three years of operation. In 2017 a total of $15,000 was raised, and in 2018 a total of $16,500 was raised. This years event saw an increase of $7,500 to be donated.
