CORNWALL, Ontario – The 17th edition of the Seaway International Wine Festival will be taking place on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Ramada by Wyndham Cornwall.

Every year this celebrated event brings 18 wine and spirit vendors and brewers to the city and it also traditionally supports a good cause.
This year, some of the proceeds from ticket sales, as well as the live auction and giveaways will go to support the St. Lawrence River Institute.

“The river is one of the City’s greatest assets,” said Scott Lecky, of Ramada Cornwall. “We want to do our part to help keep our river clean and pristine.”

This year’s event will have some special attractions. Chef Luc McCabe will be on hand and will be creating some delicious food for the guests.

There will also be live entertainment from Montreal in the form of Shaharah and Nicole ‘Coco’ Thompson.

Since it began 17 years ago, the Seaway International Wine Festival has raised over $250,000 for local charities and non-profits.

Doors open for the event at 6 p.m. Call 613-933-8000 for tickets.
