IROQUOIS, Ontario – The OPP are reporting that they seized an edged weapon from a student at Seaway District High School in Iroquois.
The OPP confirmed on their Twitter account that around 8:18 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21 they entered Seaway DHS and seized the weapon and “arrested one young person in the area,” the OPP East Twitter account states.
Both Seaway DHS and Iroquois Public School were placed on lockdown, which was later downgraded to hold-in-place after the youth was arrested.
