NORTH STORMONT, Ontario – Rodney Beckstead of North Stormont Twp, ON, matched six of seven ENCORE numbers of Jan. 28 to win a $100,000 prize.
“At first, I thought I won $100,” shared Rodney, a self-employed landscaper and handyman, while at the OLG Prize Centre to pick up his cheque. “I was trembling. I’m so excited and happy!”
The 50-year-old plans to invest his windfall into his business.
“I will buy some new equipment and continue playing the lottery,” concluded Rodney.
The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Brookdale Ave. in Cornwall.
