NORTH DUNDAS, Ontario – On Feb. 4, 2020 at approximately 3:17 p.m., Stormont Dundas and Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer had the occasion to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on County Rd. 3 in North Dundas Twp.

A check of the driver revealed that the driver’s driving privileges were disqualified stemming from previous driving related offences. The vehicle also had two different plates on it as well as no insurance.

A 26-year-old driver of North Dundas, ON was arrested and is charged with;

– Driving While under Suspension (two counts) – Highway Traffic Act

– Use Plates not authorized for vehicle (two counts) – HTA

– Drive a motor vehicle with open container of liquor – Liquor Licence Act

– Operate a motor vehicle without insurance (CAIA)

The driver was release and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall Provincial Offences court on March 17, 2020 .
